Hello Brian,
Thanks for the info. But what, if anything, can we do with it? Perhaps we could
launch a counter offensive?
We could verify the 888 phone number, disseminate it, put it on our speed
dialers, and bombard them with useless calls. "Hello, I just wanted to thank you
once again for your delightful spam message. If you want to unsubscribe from my
speed dialer, just stop sending mail to this address: _____." I guess at the very
least it might drive up their phone charges.
I must admit, my first impulse is to get even. Are there any "legitimate"
grievance procedures? Is there a Better Business Bureau for the net? Should we
notify our ISPs that this is the source of spam: Maybe they could filter it out
on the server?
Anyone else have any suggestions; either "nice" or "dirty". ):^)
