I forgot to mention that when you put the starter back on be sure you have
used a shim if required or not if not required. This sets mesh of the gears
and if it's wrong it can wear the ring gear. Also be sure the starter has the
front mount installed. If it's not there the starter can move and the bendix
climbs up the ring gears.
