Hi Andy:
When I bought my M109A3 from Joe Young, the truck was in tip top condition,
(2,000 miles!!!) the shop van body had some bad rust thru on the roof, and
the water had gotten intothe walls and it was mess, I made a tactical
decision, rather than spend a year totally disassembling, sandblasting and
rparing the rust, I removed the body and replaced it.
I bought a M109A3 Shop van body from Richard Greene Equipment in Halifax PA.
If cost $ 600.00 he slund it on with his crane, and I drove it back. the
worst part of the project was bobtailing the duece from NH to PA.
When I was there he had probably 15 more boxes in nice condition.
Personally, I would not use the color sceme/condition of the paint to decide
about a truck, you can repaint a deuce in less than a day, and make it look
like new.
Good luck
Hank
