Okay, after all this time freeloading from this list I finally see a question that I know something
about and can provide an answer to. :-) Yes Dodge did make two different 727's, one for the small
block LA series engines (273/318/340/360) and a separate one for the big block B/RB series
(361/383/400/413/426/440). As far as internal versus external balancing goes, the 360 small block
was externally balanced and I believe some of the smaller big blocks are internally balanced,
depending on year.
