I have just noticed one important thing about all this USMC cans
kefuffle... The US Metal Can cans [sic] have USMC on them beyond a doubt
:-) But the Cans we are 'discussing' have U.S.M.C. on them. So perhaps
they were originally Marine Corps cans or another companies :-)
I will investigate further....
