In a book ("JEEP - Illustrated Buyers Giude", by Jim Allen, pix on page
46) about the history of jeeps shows a pix of the "MT-TUG" jeep 3/4 ton.
They were strech versions with a fifth wheel (according to the book) and
used to move planes, cargo and trailers around. Also used to deliver
crews to and from their planes. But that's about all I know. K
