I've responed to my friend Bruce off line, but I figured I should
write my suggestions to the List.
1. Have starter amp draw checked
2. Perform vacuum test
3. Check spark at plugs (plugs are fairly new)
4. Check timing
5. Modify starting proceedure (could be flooding it)
