I recently purchased an M151A2. The truck is in really nice shape. It runs like a champ. Anyway, since I got it, it has been a slow starter. I realize this could be a multitude of things. To give you more info, it sounded like the batteries were run down. I know the truck had been sitting a lot over the last several months. The batteries were not the correct batteries
anyway, so I decided to purchase new 2HN batteries. I got them, added acid, checked their charge, and installed them. New batteries => no change. It still sounds like the batteries are low, like the engine is not turning over fast enough. The engine does eventually start, but I know this can't be right. When I slave the truck with my M813A1 (four 6TLs), it starts like a brand new truck. Any ideas.
