David,

YES, YES, it's driving me nuts. I'm getting 6 to 10 a day. For a while they
were all from the same guy/address but now it is moving around. I talked to
the tech people at my ISP and their best advice was that I had the virus and
I should go to some web site to figure out how to remove it which is a
bunch of crap. But just to satisfy them I went thru a checklist from
Symantec and I did not have a single thing in my system that you had to
"fix" to get rid of it. I have started logging into my shell account and
deleting those emails right off the server/isp before I even get them. Real
pia but it saves down load time as I am still running a 26k modem here.

If I am not the only one getting these then my guess is that someone on or
related to the list is infected and is spreading it.

Advice as always is, never let your email program automatically open any
attachment, go look at the extension of the attachment, don't do anything
with it, other than delete it, if the extension is not something you know to
be benign such as .jpg, .gif, .txt, etc.

later,

je
