Dito, not only that but I am running an old free version of Eudora Light. I
tried the new pay version and went back to my old one, I like it better.
And, it does not do all this crap for you that can get you into trouble,
like automatically opening attachments and such.

If the extension is clearly for an image type file then I'll open up my
image viewer first then when in the viewer program, open the alleged image
file. This is pretty foolproof and actually works for anything, such as a
.zip or better yet if you get a .exe that is advertised as being a self
extracting zip, go into pkzip manually first, then open it inside pkzip, it
will tell you if it is or is not a valid archive file, if not, trash it.
