Owner:
Before doing any of the following that involves disassembly and repair
and or replacement of parts, that requires the spending of money, one of
the things we used to do to verify good or bad oil pressure is to remove
the electrical sending unit and insert a calibrated non electrical OIL
PRESSURE Gauge in the block opening.
Of course run the engine cold and hot due to the thinning of the oil in
an engine at full operating temp.
In this way you really know if the pressure problem is with the engine
related parts or the gauge and the sender.
Best of luck to ya.
