Although I am not home I asked the kid to break out the flags from the
M-37 and put them on it.
My parents,
who I am visiting, have lived through 1941 and per them these events
are similar with the major exception of an ememy to ID(yet). They now
have two major attack events to remember "where were you when..".
Events are reported a lot quicker in O1 that in41.. My Dad's family
had to wait several weeks to find out that his cousin was not going to
leave the the Oklahoma.
OK On my M-38a1 it has wire loops/hook on the hook and around the
grill nothing is said about these in the TM. I suspect that are for a
winter covering. As this on has a winter heater I suspect this is
the case?
If not what are they intended for?
