  Ok guys enough ..

Like everything else in this world there is a right
way and a 100 mickey mouse ways to do something..

Getting a gen-tran secondary panel that allows you
to disconnect the main line and switch over to running
your own generator is a smart idea for many reasons,
not the least being your not feeding power over a line
some electric company lineman things is dead and winds
up frying the poor slob.

Now some of you out there are versed enough to do the
setup and wiring on your own.. Cool, the rest of us are
either going to jury rig it or like in my case get a
electrician who doesn't charge an arm and leg to do it
right .. Don't know about you but I sleep better at night
without worrying if my electrical system is going to fry
and burn the house down.. Also may get you in a no pay
situation with your house insurance.. best check ..

In NH with the N'or Easters we get and having a house
thats got forced hot water on well water as the heat
system I need a back up to insure if I lose power
for a couple of days I don't wind up with frozen pipes.
Thats why I did it Your reason may vary but doing it
safely should not ..

Ok back to your regularly scheduled program now ...
