Stu,
Heater element has a white and black wire shown on the drawing. Black is
ground. White wire is #93c which runs over to the suppressor assembly at the
wiper motor and taps into another white wire #93a. Tracing 93a backwards, I
see it goes through a connector and then over to the fuse block. This white
wire should be hot at all times. The drawing shows the element has a
temperature sensor in it which would shut it off when not needed. I printed
out this wiring diagram and can fax it to you if you would like. Let me know
your number.
