Much of this (RT524/PRC77) type of gear can be updated, allowing regular
narrowband use, without butchering them or having to remember not to speak
loudly.
Even the old, WW2, equipment can likewise.
Now a PRC-6, that is a challenge. Your tight for space, but it is doable.
The issue, do you want to be able to use this stuff, or just have it for show.
And do you want to be able to use it without ticking off someone
or some group, ie, FCC.
