I agree. It might be a little expensive and some
work(really not that difficult) but when I am off road, I
want the front axle in or out in certain situations and not
wondering what it is doing. A very special situation is
going up a steep slippery hill. When you are going, you
want that front axle doing its part in entirety, and not
just if you get some slippage, which is what you want to
avoid if at all possible. That is usually when you lose it,
and then it is all over. But, then again, it just depends
on how serious you use your truck.
