Does anyone on the nomenclature for the new style ring mount? This is the one
that no longer uses a trolley, but is bearing equipped and swivels such that
the padded backrest and gun mount stay in the same relative positions?
What about the TM number for the above?
I have heard rumor that these are actually made for (depending on rumor)
HUMVEE or an armored vehicle, and have been adapted by both collectors and
using troops to deuces and five tons. Anybody have the facts on this?
