I saw the programme on the Sherman M4 on Tuesday night and found it very interesting.
Like many programmes of this kind it works on many levels and for all it's faults, found it to be very watchable. Not having cable or dish access I'd love to see much more of this type of programme shown on the normal channels here in the UK.
For those that know the vehicle, there was much of interest from the historical b&w footage, as well as the "howlers" that have already been mentioned on the list. One that I noticed were the Panzer IV's, up-turned and in ditches that were described as "Tigers" in the commentary.
For the less informed viewer I think it gave a good impression of the Sherman and it's role during WW2.
Hope to see much more of this type of programme in the future on British TV, as we don't get that many on this side of the pond and when they do come along, they're like food to a starving man.
Cheers...... Mitch (In London)
