That depends on the year.....
On FEB 5, 1970 American Motors bought Kaiser-Jeep for 70 million, Feb 10
formed General Products Division.
In early 1971 AM General became an independent subsidiary of AMC. They go on
to build 22471 deuce and 5 tons that year.
This information comes from various years of Ward's Automotive, an annual
automotive industry publication.
I haven't seen everything, but I have looked at a lot of deuces, don't
remember seeing one nameplated General Products Division of Jeep.
