FYI
Yesterday we received further guidance from the Trade Security Office in
Memphis with respect to a buyer making a correction on their EUC. The
guidance indicates when a buyer resubmits a new EUC (one they have made a
correction/addition on) they must do so in its entirety. It is not
acceptable for them to submit a corrected page 1 or corrected page 2 alone.
The changes to the EUC must be accompanied by a corresponding new signed
date. The Trade Security Office did not go into the legal implications but
did stress the fact that many problems could arise if the two pages had
conflicting date information on them.
