I found some photos of B17, 24, and P40, 47,51. 38 , with German
Markings -
anyone that would like to see them contact me off list.
***** Huh. Doesn't seem to make any sense to mark them up that way. I
mean, they don't look like any German plane of that era so I don't think
you'd do it to fool the Germans during WWII. Movies for people that
wouldn't know the difference ?
Saw a History Channle film the other day on the Russian "B29's". Kinda
unusual to see one with a red star on it.
I know teh German Army used a lot of captured equipment during WW!!,
but can't imagine them capturing a P-38.
