The torque of the engine is what gives you the drawbar pull, the weight of
the vehicle cancels out in the equation, but the weight of the vehicle gives
you the traction needed to "convert" the engine torque to pulling power. By
adding weight to the truck you will add traction until you reach a point when
additional vehicle weight may stall the engine when the wheels can't spin.
