Turbo boost on a M54? Anyone know the specs?

I don't get any (or much, anyway) turbo boost on my M54A2. Should there
be an atmosphere of boost or so? Does the turbo just take away the
vaccuum or is it also supposed to boost, too? Thanks. Jim
