Sando and list,

I had the same problem and traced it to the pressure switch in the
filter base. These units will fail ( the diaphragm becomes compromised,
heat, age,etc.) and you lose your pressure in line.
When I replaced the unit, the paper work with the switch noted that this
was a replacement for the faulty one(s)and even ID'D the ones involved!
GM knew that they failed (the switches)but did not recall them. I also
remember someone on the list saying the same thing about the pressure
switch failing and the Gov. replacing them on an as needed basis. I
changed out mine and she is startn' just fine..
