The only problem with all the logic in this, is that the gas you pump probably
wasn't imported or refined by the company on the pump. In this region most all the gas comes from the Ashland refinery in over on the KY-WV border. It's
shipped form there to distributors who put in the additives that make it
whatever brand is on the pump. For example, comes from the BP distributor,
could have been imported by anyone and piped from the coast to the refinery
and then shipped to the distributor.
