I am an employee of the Kohler Co., and a member of the Army National Guard.
They also have a generous policy - they will supplement my military pay to
equal my pre-deployment level for 6 months, and not cancel health benefits
for my family, (but Tricare would make up for that anyway). They have always
been very supportive of my training obligations.
Companies are legally obligated to reinstate deployed soldiers at a
comparable or better compensation level within the company, not necessarily
the SAME position. Companies which offer pay supplementation do so of thier
own volition., and I for one feel it's quite patriotic.
MV stuff: Need 5 gallon gerry can and tie down strap., now that I finally
found the bracket.
