Yes, after a rebuild, I use detergent single viscosity 30W
Detergent Oil, if there's an oil filter. I ran 30W Mobil non-detergent in my track record holder Altered Class dragster
back in the early sixties. Ford Flat Head 289 c.i. (bored and
stroked)V-8. Never left me down.
