Bob,
I just swapped out my deuce motor, and left the trans. in the truck. Put
a board across the top of the cab and suspend the front of the transmission
from the board. I think if I was to do it again I would remove the tranny
with the engine. I had a difficult time getting them mated back together.
I swapped them out once before as all one unit and it was easier. Email
if you have any other questions.
