Went up to the Rally site just to check out the field, its amazing, there
were already several of the club members there helping to repair the fence,
fill in pot holes, mowing, unloading the trailer etc. One volunteer helping
is Martin Winkle, has known Doc since WWII and comes every year to help out.
He's not really into the hobby at all, just likes to be part of the group and
raising funds for good causes. Tony Norton is there, he did a great job
getting our web site together, see link below for participants (note last
updated on 30 April, more have been added since) . He wants to do a better
job marking the field and had just come back from Colemans surplus with a
load of signposts.
Well the weather outlook is good, field has about 528 spaces sold.
