Hi Ronzo...
>Known as T- Rations..... They are prepared by standing on edge in a heated
>tank of water. Designed for forward feeding in the Modular Field Kitchen
>(MFK) and Mobile Kitchen Trailer (MKT) among others. Check the MFK manual,
>TM 10-7360-208-13&P, for how they are set up. Or go to that Mildocs site
>that some one on the list runs and search for "T-Rations"..... ;-)
Why didn't I think of looking on MILDOCS.COM!
I found this in FM 8-10-14 (we are working on a MILDOCS.COM search for
FMs but is not public yet) and the following sentence from that FM
made me laugh:
"Meals, ready to eat and T Rations are NOT AUTHORIZED for
feeding hospitalized patients EXCEPT IN EMERGENCIES when
other rations are not available."
> Available from several sources on the net and eBay, do a google search
>for T-Rations.
I tried this search earlier and again now, but I don't see ANY sources
listed for t-rations for sale.
I'll try to contact Bill Porter.
Thanks!
