Howdy guys...
Just about the time I figured I had it almost all
slicked up and done, now it's back to starting and
dying.
Couple of cranks and it starts to run, then dies.
Wait a bit, starts to grab 200 rpm as it starts and
then dies. I replaced the fuel filters, they didn't
even look bad.
Checked the fuel tank, it was clean. Put pressure on
the fuel line from the tank with an air hose and tried
it and it fired right up. Next time it started the
same thing again, starts and dies, so I bled some air
off the top of the fuel filter with the accessory
switch on and the petcock open.
after that little manuever it fired right up, might
have just been a coincidence though, I have no idea.
I tried bleeding air again off the filter top but it
won't stay started. It kind of chugs on 3-4 clys
while I am holding the throttle to the floor and then
dies after about 20 seconds.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance, Jack
PS I checked the injectors by seeing if they had fuel
coming thru and they did.
