Listers, I'm working on a White Scout Car by slowly gathering bits and
pieces. It has a split axle rearend which I believe they refer to as a
Timken rear end. This type of split rearend was used in some of GMC and
Stude 6x6's, Burma Fords and some post war ford trucks. Is there an axle
shaft interchange with anything for the Scout Car?
Ihave two rear ends and no axle shafts for either. I can even live with
longer as I can have them shortened. Since we were talking rearends thought
some one could help. > [Original Message]
