Hey list I need some advice here as I am a newbie to the MV collecting
thing. I've got an 1986 M998 with a factory 6.2 in it and I want to upgrade
it to a 6.5L Turbo. I found this website that sells the engines complete
for 4k.
http://www.salvageauto.com/cgi-bin/webc.cgi/diesel-engine.html
My questions are this:
1. Will the 6.5L turbo complete engine be all I need for the upgrade?
2. How much does it typically cost to have an engine replaced?
3. Where can I sell the existing engine and what would it be worth?
Your input and advise is much appreciated.
