Greetings List,
When I got my M35, I noticed that the little spring on the parking brake
that is shaped kinda like a handlebar mustache, and keeps the shoes from
dragging on the drum when the brake is released, was broken. So I
ordered up a new one (pricey for a little piece of metal!) and installed
it. All would seem to be well. Until yesterday that is, when I was
underneath the truck chasing oil leaks and noticed that my fairly new
and expensive little spring was broken!
My questions is, it there a better way to do this, as in a clever
modification, or more durable spring that could be used?
Thanks much!
