I've run Howes fuel additive in every truck I've run
in the cold with no gelling problems. It can get
pretty cold in Wisconsin. I also run howes in every
tank on my duece year round. Never used no. 1 or a
mix of it. My M35 will start down to 20 degrees
without any starting aid, heat or ether. It's hard on
the starter so I avoid it. I usually don't run the
duece in the cold anyway because the cab gets quite
cold. The ether argument will carry on forever but I
agree with Jim's post a couple of days ago.

Just my opinion
