RE: [MV] amber flashing lights

If you read the law as listed below, it very clearly states that any
'hazard vehicle' can run an amber light. It almost so much as states
that a 'hazard vehicle' is required to use said light. This is where
lately private snowplow contractors doing driveways have been getting
ticketed in my area for not using an Amber light. I would think that a
slow moving MV on an Interstate is most certainly a 'hazard vehicle'.
As for me, I use an amber light anytime I am doing anything that I
consider 'stupid' in the road. :-) For me that even includes towing my
bulldozer, as generally I am going quite slow, and would prefer people
to stay farther away. I know most troopers and sheriffs around here
would encourage such behavior.

Amber Lights are for emergency vehicles only, not MV.
