Re: [MV] Previews at DRMOs? - This E-mail is virus free.

Joe:

I specifically asked about the previews because the policy has changed, but
I would like to hear about other issues that might keep military vehicle
collectors/hobbyists/dealers from bidding on trucks up for auction at GL.

Here are a couple answers to your questions:

-The A1 - H7 Conditions codes are assigned by the military when
trucks/trailers, etc. are turned into the DRMO. These classifications
codes do not get changed and, to your point, it is best to take them with a
grain of salt.

-All bids on GL are from individual buyers throughout the U.S. Our
books are audited regularly by top accounting firms under the terms of our
contract with the DRMS. The only people you are ever bidding against are
others who want the same truck as you do.

I understand there are issues many people on this list have with GL, and I
would like to hear about them. I can't promise to fix every issue, but I
will see what I can do to make things better if I can.

Thanks,

Hunter

When did you sign up for this list?

Is this the ONLY thing you want to know about?

Don't you want to know anything about your
inaccurate/WRONG descriptions?

Don't you want to know anything about having the wrong
photos posted?

Don't you want to know anything about incomplete lots
being shipped or parts missing?

Don't you want to know anything about material being
described as "A1" that turns out to be un-repariable
JUNK?

Don't you want to know anything about your fine print
that says you can promise us the Space Shuttle but
deliver us your household garbage and say it OUR fault
because we didn't inspect the lot properly.

Are we really bidding against anyone? Or just against
your company.
