Steve,

The rear axle brake hoses I got from Memphis Equip. (Mfg. PN 7373248
$17.66 ea) for my M35A2 measure 28 1/4" overall; bare hose between
connector crimps is 24 5/8". Connector on one end (male threads) takes 5/8"
wrench, turns entire hose. Other end has 5/8" across flats crimped to hose,
with sliding flare nut (male threads, 1/2" wrench) on small tube extending
from fitting, so you can tighten that without turning entire hose. Hope this
is useful. I recommend spraying old fittings with penetrating oil (like PB
Blaster), and using the BEST flare nut wrenches you can find (SNAP ON are
very good). Use a good anti-seize on the new fittings to make the job easier
for the next caretaker of your truck.

Question:
The old, stiff hoses on my truck kind of float above the torque arms, they
are not attached to them. I'm not sure if the new hoses will stay in
position on their own or if they should be supported/attached somewhere
along their length to keep them out of harm's way - anyone have a
suggestion?
