I have talked with a vendor at the Kruse Auction in Indiana several times
who drives rig that I have to describe.

Kenworth tractor - dual tandem - air ride - 5th wheel removed - van box
installed along with some windows, toilet, sink, bed, etc. Also installed
a really heavy pintle hitch - much heavier than a 5 ton mil vehicle.

Trailer - dual tandem axle - tag - pintle ring hitch trailer - bed about 30
feet long, probably an old equipment hauler - roughly 20 ton rating - with
a 28 foot van body welded on to the equipment trailer's deck.

This guy sews car tie down straps in the 28 foot van body - he has large
windows cut into it to display his wares. He drags this rig all over the
country to car shows.

The rig is registered as a RV in Illinois I believe. He said they told him
it had to have a toilet, a shower, and a pressurized water system to pass
as an RV. So he installed a setup in the tractors van body and presto - he
has a RV that he uses to haul his goods that he sells commercially. I
think he told me that just the trailer was 35,000 lbs.
