NAPA also has a fluid similar to WD40 but they swear
that it will penetrate into a one millionth of an inch
area.
I have used it and it does work very well. Like
everything else at NAPA it is a little pricey (about
$5.00 per can).
Obviously there are times when only the heat wrench
will work but I would definetly try these products
first with the use of six point sockets and or
wrenches. Twelve point tools have their place but
will often round the corners on old rusted-down
fasteners.
Heat and soak and then heat and soak. Switch between
slightly tightening to slightly loosing the fastener
and more soaking.
