Just to expand on this, Georgia's DMV is stating that:

1. You must be a fire fighter or farmer to obtain the Non-Commercial
Class B or A license. (this flies in the face of Ga code which states
any resident may obtain said license).

And worse:
2. Commercial Motor Vehicles are defined as typical and excluded as
typical with out a definition of what defines a Recreational Vehicle.
One other Georgia Code section defines Recreational Vehicle as "a
vehicle used for pleasure or travel by and individual or his family".
Even so, the same DMV director is stating that my 5 ton is NOT a
Recreational Vehicle and as such requires a CDL to operate. Further
the same code section that defines what makes a Commercial Motor
Vehicle calls out the federal code as additional exclusions and
exemptions. Regardless, the same DMV director states "CDL only".
ARRGGGHGHHHHH!

So, I'm trying the other tack. Get a "hobby vehicle" definition added
to the commercial motor vehicle definition. I've taken a few hours to
bang out what I think would be good code. Any armchair lawyers out
there want to critique it?
