Not to nitpick but.... the tip of the pyrometer probe is to go dead center
in the middle of the gas flow. If you want to reduce response time then you
get an exposed junction probe, but not real smart if your putting it before
the turbo. If you are going with the probe after the turbo it should be as
close the end of the turbine shaft as possibe/practical. Not sure why
anyone is talking about putting a probe on the body of anything, temperate
in a gas flow falls off the closer you get to the wall, the highest temp is
in the center. But, your mileage may very.
