Just need to wear a decent mask, like you would with any paint sanding.

.I haven't removed any paint on any of mine yet, well I actually did grind
the paint from my deucenahalf front bumper and rear bumperettes, so what
are you all saying that some paints on these trucks will harm you if you
grind or sand it off?

Guys there's only one way to deal with CARC...sandblast it! Be sure to use a
good respirator and be careful not to over heat the metal, when I come to a
stubborn area I move on then come back to it later after the metal cools.
There's no substitute for a clean, blasted surface.
