Hi

I do think it is a good idea that you guys decide to call a truce on this
brush fire. I also do think that now that we are involved in a combat war,
followed by the tough after action pacification of a dangerous country we
should all pull together as Americans and unify behind the mission. It is
to late to debate whether the country is going to do this. It is history.
We are doing it. We are committed to this with lives and money. We have to
live in the present and do our best to see this through now. Everyone had
their chance to vote in the election and the result is in. If it means that
we have to buck up and put our own personal opinions aside for now then
that’s what we, as well as the press and politicians and film makers need to
do. After its over everyone can write a book or make a movie, but for now
lets all apply ourselves to the war effort and get this thing done. And
besides we shouldn’t be using this list for any antiwar propaganda shots.
That is not what this list is for. Lets get back to our MV discussions
which we all are here for.

Nice. Cliff is calling me a traitor for expressing an opinion that runs
contrary to the current government handling of the war. No challenges to my
discussion points, just insults. That's about as unAmerican as you can get.
And Cliff is supposed to be defending American values... that is unsettling.

Sorry folks... I don't care if Cliff is off in Iraq risking his ass for this
country. You have my respect for that. But I don't have respect for you as
an American. Americans, real Americans, don't confuse a free discussion
with treason. That is because real Americans embrace differences of
opinion, not try to shout it down with heavy handed tactics.

Cliff, why don't you review your military oath and check out a copy of the
Constitution some days soon. I think you need a refresher course.
Then read a thing or two about the founding of this country. Then perhaps
we might talk later on about the things I am doing over here to support the
war effort even though I don't agree with my government's policies.
