Don't #2 and #3 come to TDC at the same time?
A compression test may lie to you if there is a leak
BETWEEN #2 and #3, I almost think #3 fires first
leaving #2 with nothing to burn, maybe?
Try the compression test on #3 with the plug of #2 out
and see what happens.
