Ok, we have something like this in Texas and I suppose the
greater US, called 'pot pies' here, such as 'ckicken pot pie',
wherein resides chicken, vegetables, and globby gravy. They
usually come in tins (little pie plates) and you heat them in the
oven. These are a prepared food, so probably nowhere as good as a
real meat pie.
