Joe, I have pretty much determined that gas sitting in the sun (especially
in black tanks) will go bad very fast. The gas in my snowmobile sat for 2
years inside a shed, under shade of many trees, and the gas was just fine.
My snowblower sat out in the direct sun for 4 months, and wouldn't run on
the gas at all!
