Thanks Bruce, We at the MTA of NJ have a long and growing relationship with
the NJ, Guard.You may remember i asked for gas 50 CAL.s a week age, We spent
3 days sniping and harrassing dressed in local garb and hit and run actions
with a jeep and a gas 50, while they taught convoy security, It was
unbelievably exitng and very rewarding , And was well appreciated, we had all the big
brass come out for the 3rd day they were very impressed,We keep our place we
keep quit and do what we are asked, and we will be doing it again, They were
put on full alert last wednesday, we were asked to help on friday we supplied
a forklift to load there trucks , then with the donations quickly
overwhelming we were officially asked if we could supply trucks, The MTA of Nj supplied
6 cargo trucks in a 24 hour notice and still heavily manned one of our
favorite parades, many of our members across the state are moving supplies by
today, from 3 other armories with Police escorts in some areas, All it usually
takes is someone to show up and offer, we make it a point that we are there to
help for free, we do not want to interfear with anything they do, we keep our
trucks and people in a friendly and professional manner,we obey all traffic
laws and always ask if they would like to have input in what we are doing, we
are there to help only,
This works and those in the front are desparatly needed , So are we in the
back.
If we may be of assistance in any way our club would love to offer anything
we have learned over the last few years 9/11 has put us in a place to be
