Application for former military license plates, form VTR-135-M states" The
identification number assigned to the vehicle by the Armed Forces may be
used as the registration number". Could someone with experience on this
issue define just what numbers are being referred to here? There are two
sets of numbers on a vehicles: the VIN and the Base Plate numbers which are
place on the vehicle by the using unit. Does the term "unique idenification
mark" refer to the bump number that one decides to place on ther vehicle?
Thanks Dennis
