I think they are pretty easy going on the medical card anyway. I found
someplace in the federal law that if you are asked for you medical card
and you do not have it - you can produce it later on - you do not have
to actually be carrying it. So if you get pulled over, and they ask for
your medical card, tell them you left it at home. If you ask for you to
produce proof that you have it - just go get a physical after the fact
and send them the proof. I was cited for not having a medical card
also, but I don't think there is fine for that, and they can't keep you
on the side of the road for not having a medical card as it is
apparenlty not a safety violation. Strange, but that seems to be the game.
